Trinity Baptist Church Moncton

History

Trinity Baptist Church has its origins in a Sunday morning meeting that was commenced for some new believers and other friends who were no longer attending church services. This was in 2014. From the outset, although meeting in a home, the services were conducted in a reverential and meaningful manner according to biblical principles and yet in a spirit of joy and thanksgiving. During the next few years numbers fluctuated from as many as eighteen down to a steady seven. In 2020 as Covid 19 restrictions came into force, in the providence of God, a number of other believers came to join the fellowship which meant having to find another meeting place as the number exceeded the allowable ten. In August 2020 permission was received to meet in the Fair Haven Fellowship Room, Salisbury Road, Moncton where the prevailing restrictions could be met. Following the lifting of restrictions we have continued meeting there through the kindness of the management. The numbers attending the services have varied during that period, but by October, 2022 the congregation had grown into a stable and growing fellowship. It was at this time that the name Trinity Baptist Church Moncton was adopted.
