Sunday Morning Worship Service:   11:00 a.m.
Celebration of the Lord's Table:   1st Sunday monthly (usually following Morning Worship)
Sunday Evening Worship Service:   6:00 p.m.

A Typical Worship Service usually lasts an hour and proceeds as follows:

  • Welcome and Announcements
  • Reading of a Psalm
  • Opening Prayer of Invocation
  • Singing of two or three songs or hymns
  • Reading of Scripture (usually related to the message to follow)
  • Pastoral prayer (for political leaders, congregational needs, the work of Christ world-wide, conversions, and other particular needs)
  • Message by Pastor Edwards (includes explanation of a part of the Bible based on definitions and teachings in other parts of the Bible, and the application today, with a challenge to all to repent, believe, and obey the Lord)
  • Hymn
  • Prayer of Benediction
The Sunday Evening service is less structured and often includes time for questions and discussion on the topic being presented. Topics have included biblical living; historical revival; family life; duties of husbands, wives and children; church history; and many others.
Wednesdays:   "Family Night" with children's groups meeting from 6:15 to 7:30 and adults meeting for study, fellowship and prayer from 6:30 to 7:30.
Women's Meeting:   3rd Thursday monthly, 7:00 p.m.
